| - Taiyo D'Agaru Shonen:
- A Samurai By his Name:
Basic Character Information: Name: Namae 名前 Alias / Nickname: Taiyo D'Agaru Shonen 太陽で上がる少年 Age: 32 (due to his gift, his mind and body are 44) Despite this, he's very young looking Gender: Male Race: Human Personality: Never knowing who he truly is, Namae has taken up his name (Namae is the improvised Japanese translation for 'name') for the fact that he no longer remembers his actual name. Due to this amnesia, he is very defensive and reserved, and often keeps from speaking to others if he can help. Namae can be very rude to others who irritate him; especially people who 'stand for nothing', which he considers worthless people. When he asks: What are you fighting for? You'd better have a damned good answer if you want to keep talking to him (or even stay alive if he's your enemy). When confronted by others in calm situations, he can carry a great conversation, and a very intelligent one at that. Despite only being 47, the age added to his body is accompanied by a great deal of intelligence and retention, so while he is not at all booksmart, Namae is likely one of the wisest people you'll meet in the world, and is more than capable of surviving in any climate. This ust makes him an even more formidable foe. Goals: Namae has no goals. He lives only for vengeance. Trainer Information: Trainer Rank: Master Trainer Type: Samurai Pokemon: None Nation: Apexia Alliances: Black Beard's Pirates Education: No formal education, but he has learned a great deal simply out of life experience. History and it's Gifts: Skills/Talents: Great with his sword, very perceptive, and due to "Ho-oh's Blessing" he is technically immortal. Weaknesses/Faults/fears: Seemingly none, aside from his "Great weakness" depicted in the legend. Mostly by choice, Namae doesn't affiliate with pokemon well. - RP Sample (History and Appearance Included):
Calm waves crashed against golden sand. The sky above boasted an evanescent beauty as the sun set. Wingull flew just beneath the clouds; they seemed to be chasing the sun as it sank beneath the horizon. Their squawking, which was horridly incessant, awoke the child sleeping on the rich sands of the elegant beach. When he awoke, he looked beneath him to see the blood flowing from his head, which had tainted the beauty of the grains; each one was coated in the thick, red substance. Almost as quickly as his eyes had fluttered to life, his body grew limp and cold with death, as they (his eyes) shut.
There was no explanation for the wound that had slain this boy, nor was there reason for his rising the next morning. Most versions of the legend state that it was his vengeance that cleansed his wound and stripped his figure of it. Others say it was the power of the sun that returned his soul, under the dictation of Ho-oh, and marked his bosom with it's shape. Be it the will of the undying revenant, or the valiance of dawn's savior, revenge was his purpose thereafter.
The legend (all of them) says he swam the length of the ocean, and ran the length of the continent to seek revenge on those who had slaughtered his family. It was said that after arriving at the home of his clan, he came upon those who had ruined his life; those who were the source of the boy's vengeance. Easily, the men slew him, disgracing his body with their sputum, and laughed at him heartily.
However, to their surprise, the sun rose the next morning, as well as the boy, this time older and stronger. Again, he felt the pain of death, but was pierced through the heart a hundred times over to ensure his death. Regardless the boy rose again, by the light of the sun. Again the boy stood before the villains, and again he was killed. The child was dropped on Death's door time and time again, but each time Death rejected him.
Now the boy rose once more, but a boy he was no longer. He was a man now, his features full, and he stood before those who held the key to his vengeance a final time. This time, it was not he who fell. No, Death's cold hand reached out from the darkness for the villains now, holding all four of them in it's grasp. Death however, would find himself short of souls, for one escaped the mighty hand of reaping, and it was from this soul that the tale of The Boy Who Rises By the Sun lived.
The legend was born.
Steel clashed violently against steel. The heat of battle conflicted with the cold air produced by the tears of heaven. Heaven did not cry without reason, nay, Zion's tears stemmed from the battle beneath it's divine sky. Sounds of metals hitting one another rang out from the plateau once more, forcing heaven to wail vociferously even more so. Two souls, entwined by fate, were commenced in a battle to the death, leaving the land around them in ruin. Craters would appear where they struck. Collisions between them resulted in a large invisible cover, shielding them from the rain, which created an effervescent appearance as the droplets bounced off of it; and upon disuniting, these droplets would fall once more to the earth, drenching the two warriors in their essence.
The battle continued for what felt like days, though it may have only been several hours, and felt as though it would never end. Neither side showed signs of wearing, nor did they imply the utilization of a miracle. Daybreak would soon be upon them, and the two wished for an end to their vital struggle, and it did come. A blade of steel was plunged through the gut of one of the warriors, shattering his armor and killing him, bringing a smile to the two remaining men's faces. It had been done. Their enemy, vanquished. "I did not think you would come, Kurama."
He who had slain the warrior responded to his brother. "I did not think you would need me, Kirama. Never you mind, it has been done." The elder brother bowed his head in approval, and the two shared a glimpse of the rising sun before shock was brought to their eyes. As heaven's tears ceased and the sun, the never-fading beacon of light, rose, so did the fallen soldier. Pieces of his carapace shattered, broke, and fell apart, all of it disappearing from his body, including the places that were left untouched. This deathless man was left barren, save for the hakama that blinded the view of his waist and anything below it, as well as his geta.
"N-Namae?" He who was named Kurama spoke while clinging to his brother's arm in fear, who was now beside him.
"Do you not see, foolish brother? Look there, upon his breast. It is the same as in the legends, is it not!" And the mark in question was there. A crimson circle lay upon Namae's bosom; and it matched the sun behind his figure in an uncanny way. His unclothed body was idealistic and toned, as a samurai's body should be. The handsome face above it bore dark features, a stern, cold demeanor, and dark eyes. These colorless pits were accompanied by hair, as black as night itself; and it hung down below his waist, gracefully whipping against the wind. No scars marked his figure, and the damages done to him previously had been healed by some unseen force.
"Namae? Namae is merely a name that I have given myself, in absence of the memory of a true name." The origin of these words is not ambiguous; they need no justification.
Kirama spoke this time, as his brother could not. "Then you are him! The Boy Who Rises By the Sun!"
"They call me this, but I choose to be recognized as a simple man with no name. Now, I presume you know what happens next?" It is needless to say what happened thereafter. The two men who dared face a legend met their deaths at the sun's blade, never to see the end of the story they had laid out. Only one man descended from that plateau, and he had never known a sibling by blood.
Though they say that The Boy Who Rises By the Sun can never truly be killed, all legends tell of a 'Great Weakness'. Severing his head and delivering to Lugia, as an offering, is said to prevent his constant resurrection, but just as the legends entail, he will always rise from his ashes by the power of Ho-oh, like a phoenix.

| need at least one paragraph appearance, and your history is missing. Also, your nation isn't filled in though you could always just put N/A there if need be. | |
