Rivals Meet! Sayomi vs. Festus!

Sayomi stood under a tree in the middle of a huge grassland. Quake was laying in the grass behind her, yawning. They had only just started on their journey and already they were lost. "Hey Quake? Which way did we come from again? Maybe stopping was a bad idea, huh?" She said to the large yellow and black Luxray. The pokemon simply looked at her and yawned once more.

A slight breeze blew across the savannah. Perhaps a nap was in order? Sayomi stretched and fell back, her head resting on the side of the large Luxray. "Alright. Let's take a break then?" She asked rhetorically before closing her eyes. What a great place to nap. The tree provided just enough shade to cover the duo while they rested.

Festus was silently walking through the grassy plains of the Savannah looking for his next kill he lay crouched on the ground not a muscle moving before he walked over to the tree that sayomi was at and sat down on the other side of it. He took out the pokeballs containing Rex and Agg. He tossed them into the air and the two hulking figures came out "Guess it's a good time for a rest. You two stand guard you never know" he said first in Agg's language than in Rex's. The two nodded before turning and watching the grassy plaisn for any sign of life as Festus layed back against the tree and began to sleep peacfully dreaming of his next kill.

Sayomi was almost asleep when she heard a sound. The sound of pokeballs opening. Someone was here. She sat up and looked behind her where the sound had come from. She whispered to Quake, "What's over there, Quake?" Quake narrowed his eyes and peered through the tree's trunk. There was a man and two pokemon, which Sayomi didn't know of course, but it made the hair on Quake's mane stand up. That was never a good sign. "Relax. I'm sure it's just a harmless pokemon." She told him.

Sayomi reached into her bad and pulled out her Styler as precaution. The yellow and black device glinted in the sun. Slowly she walked around the tree. "Hello? Anyone there?" She asked, leaving Quake to watch from the other side. His yellow eyes narrowed and ready to sprint around the tree if needed.

Festus was half asleep when he heard the sound of someone talking on the other side of the tree. He quickly got up the brace like stone on his arms sliding down to his fists; he silently motioned to Agg and Rex who were on the alert as well. He then straightened when he saw the girl walk around the tree “What are you doing out here?!” he asked instantly with annoyance in his voice for he thought he would be alone. “Never mind i really don't give a fuck but your lucky I didn’t kill you when I saw you. I have a habit of strikeing first before asking questions” He said before motioning to Agg and Rex “Lucky they didn’t kill you on the spot either they have the same habit.” with that Rex and Agg growled at her.

Festus’s bracer like arm stones than slid back to their normal spots “Your one lucky girl that you are” he then began to walk off as if this girl was never even there. He than turned around "why am i the one that's walking away" he than walked up to the girl so that they were face to face "leave."

Sayomi looked at the odd man. He wasn't fully human, that was sure. That however, wasn't what got her attention. It was his attitude. He was rude and cocky. How dare he talk to her like that! She immediately scowled. Poke-morph or not, this guy wasn't nice. "I'll have you know that I am a Ranger! I stopped here to take a break and that's what I'm going to do. If you have a problem with that then I advise you take your own comment for yourself. Perhaps if you had been kinder in the way you greet people I'd have left without fuss." She said firmly, still scowling at the man.

Quake watched carefully, waiting for the precise moment of Sayomi's signal. He wasn't too fond of the poke morph either, but he'd stay put for now.

Festus froze when he heard she was a ranger than scowled at himself for careing "Well leave! It's that simple for you just to leave." he said continuing to stay eye level with her "Now Agg, Rex. Go away and do something whilst me and this ranger chat for a while" he said looking back to them before he returned his gave to her's "So now that we know each other is here i'm going to sleep cause you are worth none of my care which i have little of" He than sat down back at the base of the tree as he watched agg and rex fight
