Sea Gym

Sea GymThe Sea gym, on the harbor of Novia, is easily recognizable by it's oceanic imagery. When a trainer challenges the gym, they are taken to a large room. From there, they are given swimming gear, inluding clothes, goggles, flippers, snorkels, whatever. They are then set to choose a pokemon. This pokemon will be their own, and must not be water type. It will be set into a tiny raft, and floated into the arena. After "rescuing" their pokemon, the battle can begin. The trick to this arena is two fold. One, it is huge. 2, the pool arena has floating rafts for non-water pokemon. (thrown in just before the battle) These rafts are wooden, and float along. The real secret of the arena, is that the far end of it generates huge waves. Both the challenging trainer and the gym leader are on small free floating rafts, similar to those set for ground based pokemon. As the waves come, even the trainer's raft will move with the waves. Both trainer and pokemon must concentrate to keep up. This gym is said to tie with the Orancia gym for hardest gyms in the world. Beat the gym leader, and you get the Tidal Badge.
